Temperatures and maceration were carefully managed to provide distinct, fruity aromas, and vibrant color in this URLO red wine. After blending, the wine was aged six months in small French oak barriques. This red has deep ruby red color with purple overtones and intense aromas of black cherry, prunes, and vanilla with notes of mint and Modenese balsamic. Fruity and fragrant, this full-bodied wine has flavors of dark cherries, blackberries, and blueberries and a long and persistent finish with silky tannins and lingering vanilla notes. Varietal: 25% syrah, 25% cabernet, 25% merlot, 15% sangiovese, 5% alicante, 5% petit verdot.
